The flag of Vermont was adopted on June 1,
1923. The
flag contains a dark blue field and the states coat of
arms in the center. On the coat of arms
there is a depiction of a pine tree to represent
Vermont’s Pine Forest. A cow with three
sheaves of wheat represents dairy and agricultural
industries in the state. The deer’s head
symbolizes Vermont’s wildlife. The Green Mountains of
Vermont are also depicted. At the bottom on a red
