Flag of KAZAKHSTAN
A high qality picture image of Kazakhstan's
Flag

The national flag of Kazakhstan contains a light
blue field that symbolizes the various Turkic peoples that
make up the current population of the
country. The
light blue also represents the sky god
Gök-Tanry and water as well. In the center is a sun and a
golden eagle. The
sun symbolizes the source of life and wealth.
The golden
eagle had been used by different Kazakh tribes on their
flags as a symbol of the power of state. For Kazakhstan the
eagle represents independence, freedom and flight to the
future. The
pattern on the fly represents the cultural traditions and
art of the Khanate and the Kazakh people. The flag of Kazakhstan
was adopted on June 4, 1992.
