A high qality picture image of Spain's Flag

The Spanish flag was adopted on May 28, 1785. The flag contains three horizontal bands colored red and yellow with the coat of arms on the yellow center band.  Except for the Second Republic period (1931-1939) the flag's colors have been unchanged since the 18^th century.  The only changes to the flag  that have been made are on the coat of arms.
