Flag of BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA
A high qality image of the flag of Bosnia
Herzegovina

The flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina was adopted
on February 4, 1998. The flag contains a vertical blue
band on the fly side, a yellow isosceles triangle along
the blue band and the rest of the flag is blue again with
seven stars and two half stars. The colors on the flag
were taken from the flag of Europe and the colors are
often associated with neutrality and peace. The
reason for the half stars is because they are meant to be
never ending. The triangle symbolizes the three different
nationalities of Bosnia; Bosniaks, Croats and
Serbs. It is also to represent the map of Bosnia
which looks like a triangle.
